For models that have an active RIDE COMMAND+ account, you can update your display via Over-The-Air Updates (OTA). When an update is ready, a notification will be displayed on top of the display. Follow these steps when you get said notification:
1.) Connect the bike to a trickle charger. Refer to your Owner's Manual for the trickle charger location.
2.) Tap the notification on the display to access the Update Software menu.
3.) Tap INSTALL in the Update Software menu.
4.) The update will install and the touchscreen will reboot.
For models with the 7" Display powered by RIDE COMMAND, you can update your display via USB.

On your display, select Maps and locate the navigation arrow. If the arrow is gray, power cycle the vehicle and move to an area with an unobstructed overhead view. Once the navigation arrow turns red, the display has acquired GPS signal. If problems persist, check connections on the GPS receiver on the display or see your dealer.
For the 7" Display specifically, determine how many satellites are connected. Select Main Menu > Vehicle Settings > GPS Status to see how many satellites are currently connected. If the status has less than four satellites shown, move to an area with an unobstructed overhead view. If problems persist, check connections on the GPS antenna on the display or see your dealer.
Syncing your data to your account allows RIDE COMMAND information to be shared between the Indian Motorcycle RIDE COMMAND website, the app and your vehicle's display. Syncing ensures that your data has been backed up to a secondary location and is then viewable on all touchpoints. Ride tracks, waypoints, and planned routes can be synced to and from your account.

There are two options when setting the clock function:
1.) GPS source automatically sets the clock when there is GPS signal.
2.) The internal clock can be manually set through System Settings > Time. Ensure the time zone (GMT offset) and daylight savings mode are correct for your location if in GPS mode.

RIDE COMMAND+, formerly known as Connected Services, is available on model year 2020 and newer Indian Motorcycles with a cellular connectivity and an In-Dash Display. This enhanced technology offers live weather and traffic overlays, remote vehicle health monitoring, remote vehicle location, automatic account sync, and more.
RIDE COMMAND+ is a subscription-based service. Upon purchase, your bike includes one year free of the connected services. At the end of the complimentary period, RIDE COMMAND+ must be renewed on a yearly basis.
